The International Theater Day was marked in Ufa by the closing of the Republican Theater Festival "ARTylyshFEST". The creative forum was held in the capital of the republic from 20 to 27 March. The festival was attended by 12 professional theater groups of Bashkortostan from Ufa, Salavat, Sterlitamak, Sibay and Tuimazy, who presented their best productions to the audience and critics. The closing ceremony of the Republican Theater Festival "ARTylyshFEST" took place on the stage of the Ufa State Tatar Theater "Nur".
"For seven days, theatrical troupes gave us the joy of communication. Many of the performances that participated in this festival were created as part of the party program "Culture of the Small Motherland." Within the framework of this program, there are two more programs - "The Theater of Small Towns" and "Theater for children". Thanks to them, amazing performances are created at the theaters, the material and technical base is being strengthened. Yesterday, at the II cultural forum "ART-Kurultai", the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, announced that four Ufa theaters that cannot participate in party programs will receive funds from republican budget,"- said Amina Shafikova, a Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The Minister handed Letters of Appreciation to the members of the Expert Council: Olga Romantsova, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the magazine “Theatrical Affiche of the Capital”, Candidate of Art Criticism; theater and film actress, director, senior lecturer at the GITIS acting department, head of the theater laboratory at the faculty of the Higher School of Television of Moscow State University Tatyana Morozova; as well as Ufa theater experts Dina Davletshina (theatrical critic, manager of special projects of the Ufa State Tatar Theater "Nur", Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Bashkortostan) and Aisylu Sagitova (Associate Professor, Candidate of Art History, Head of the Department of History and Theory of Arts of the USIA named after Zagir Ismagilov).
The directors of all theaters received participation diplomas.
