The State Orchestra of Bashkortostan opened the tour in Tatarstan with an outstanding concert of academic music of the national composer schools of the two republics on the main stage of Kazan - in the State Grand Concert Hall named after S. Saydashev. The concert program was compiled by Dmitry Kryukov, chief conductor of the NSO RB, together with the Unions of Composers of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan.

The evening of April 7 became a bright musical event. The overture to the opera Salavat Yulaev by Zagir Ismagilov, the Nafis overture by Nazib Zhiganov, the Bashkir Lyric Suite by Khusain Akhmetov, fragments from the ballet Shurale » Farida Yarullin, Litany by Leonid Lyubovsky, suite Symphonic Dances by Rashid Kalimullin, Symphonic Scenes by Leyla Ismagilova, Symphony No. 6 (the world premiere of the work) by Rustem Sabitov, symphonic poem The Golden Throne of Hephaestus by Valery Skobelkin were performed to the audience.

The finest accent of the national lyrics was the magic kurai performed by the soloist – the Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Artur Gaysarov.
