On February 22, as part of the “White River” festival, Artem Dervoed performed at the Bashkir State Philharmonic.

Artem Vladimirovich Dervoed is a Russian classical guitarist, laureate of international and all-Russian competitions. Was born on October 25, 1981 in Rostov-on-Don.

Since 2005 he has been teaching at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts, and at the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music since 2011. He conducts an active concert activity, performing at the best concert halls of the world.

Artem Dervoed is one of the brightest classical guitar performers. He has performed at the the halls of the Berlin and Cologne Philharmonics, Tonhalle and Elbphilharmonic in Germany, at Carnegie Hall and Jordan Hall (USA), at Bunka Kaikan (Japan), at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.

The musician's repertoire includes 33 concertos for guitar and orchestra, programs of chamber music and compositions for solo guitar from the Renaissance to the present day. A true virtuoso with an extraordinary charisma and an impeccable reputation, the artist is a frequent guest of radio and TV programs dedicated to classical guitar, and he is also the founder of the A. Ponomarchuk “Golden Fingerboard” festival of chamber guitar music, and co-founder and artistic director of the Moscow International “Guitar Virtuosi Festival ".

In the program "Castles of Spain" Artem Dervoed presented the suite "Castles of Spain" by F. Moreno-Torroba that includes 14 parts, the Squerzo Waltz by M. Llobet, Fantasia No. 17 and opus 30 by F. Sora, Sonata A. José.

It is noteworthy that each part of the "Castles of Spain" suite was dedicated to an ancient Spanish castle and images of these buildings were projected on the stage, so the audience could see them while listening a short musical story.

The musician admitted that he was glad, after a few years, to perform again in front of the Ufa audience.
