Today, 24 October, at the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan held a round table "On the call of the Ural Batyr", which was devoted to the current state of storytellers tradition. Important that the round table was organized in the framework of the I All-Russian festival of storytellers (Sesen), this takes place in Ufa on October 23-24.
On behalf of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan of all participants and the audience greeted the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ranis Altynbaev.
"It is gratifying that in this festival are storytellers from the neighboring countries of near and distant countries and our Bashkir Sesens too - said Ranis Raisovich. – "World Folkloriad" grand event will be held in 2020 in Bashkortostan. All-Russian festival of storytellers in Ufa is a preparation for "Folkloriad - 2020".
Ranis Altynbaev thanked the Moscow colleagues, namely the State Russian House of Folk Art and the person who came to Ufa, Irina Kozlova – Deputy Director of the State Russian House of Folk Arts, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia, the executive secretary of the Russian Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the UNESCO Russian Federation's Commission.
Irina Kozlova noted that the competition is truly serious event, which brought together artists, storytellers from 11 subjects of the Russian Federation and the CIS: "Yesterday's day of the competition, was an 11 hours of listening to the participants, of very high standards. On the same stage were genuine masters, carriers and receivers, professional performers and just lovers of this art. It is gratifying that the competition has opened the names of most of young talents".
Interestingly, participants have tried to focus not so much on their reports, but rather on the festival. The round table participants could not comment on the already held competitive round in the walls of the Ufa Institute of Arts Z.Ismagilova. Opening of the festival did not leave anybody indifferent to storytellers’ art.
The round table discussed a variety of issues. Speakers from Bashkortostan examined topics related to skill of storytellers medieval, renaissance and development issues Bashkir storytelling, personality Bashkir Sesen, professional poetry Institute Sesen in Bashkir culture, the Bashkir dombra art, also discussed the problems of translation of the epic "Ural Batyr", the state of existence of the national epic" Zayatulyak and Hyuhylu.
Gulnara Aitpaeva of the Kyrgyz Republic introduced listeners the report “Diversity in the legend of Manas” epic, Zoe Strekalovskaya (Sakha (Yakutia)) took the theme “Olonkhosut as a cultural text”, creator of "Honored Artist of the Republic of Altai Emil Terkishev spoke about the epics of the republic, the singer of epics Sophia Brusnikina (Arkhangelsk) invited to consider the revival of storytelling traditions in the Arkhangelsk region and folklorist Nina Kuular (Tuva Republic) spoke about the current state of the art storytelling in his country.
We remind that today at 17:00 at the National Youth Theatre of the Republic of Bashkortostan will work them M.Karima interactive platform "Open yurt" for Aitysh - a kind of poetic song competition.
And at 19:00 on the stage of the Youth Theatre gala concert, which will be held the closing ceremony of the festival, and of course, the announcement of results of the competition: the owner of the main prize - "Halyk Sesen".
