June 20, the Bashkir State Academic Drama Theater of M. Gafuri will present a new production of "Trees are dying standing" by the spanish poet and playwright Alejandro Cason. One of the main roles in the play will be played by People's Artist of the USSR Gyulli Mubaryakova.
The plot of the melodrama tells the story of the lord Balboa and his wife. For the sake of happiness and peace of mind of his beloved wife, Senor Balboa decides on a dangerous rally. For many years he wrote her letters on behalf of their only grandson Mauricio, who fled from his father's house 20 years ago. Then señor Balboa invites artists from the agency who pretend to be Mauricio and his wife. But the skillful farce almost ends in tragedy after the sudden return of the real grandson, destroying the world of beautiful illusions and blissful ignorance.
The production is directed by director Oleg Khanov, artist Albert Nesterov, composer Ural Idelbayev, light artist Marat Sayakhov and Sulpan Askarova (plastic). Translation from Spanish into Russian was made by Natalia Trauberg, and in the Bashkir language by Fakil Murzakayev.
In the performance, the actors of the theater are involved: Gyulli Mubaryakova and Sufiya Kurbangaleyeva (Grandma), Akhat Khusainov and Sagidulla Baizigitov (Senor Balboa), Ruslan Khaisarov and Azamat Gafarov (Mauricio), Milena Ishayeva, Gulmira Ismagilova and Razif Dinmukhametova (Marta Isabella), Ilsiyar Gazetdinova (Khenoveva), Svetlana Khakimova (Elena), Firdaus Gizatullina (Amelia), Azamat Gafarov, Rinat Baimurzin (Another), Sagidulla Baizigitov and Ildar Saitov (Pastor).
