Puppet Theater presented premiere based on Bashkir folk tales and legends

The long-awaited premiere took place in the Bashkir State Puppet Theater — a play written primarily for an adult audience "What Is The Ornament Singing About?" directed by the director of the theater Albert Imamutdinov.

The underlying storyline is a play by Vladimir Anoshkin based on various Bashkir folk tales and legends. The play also includes dance numbers staged by Rustam Imamov. The main highlight of the performance is the live sound of Bashkir national instruments performed by puppet theater artists. The play's music was written by Ural Idelbaev, an Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The Puppet Theater repertoire also includes other productions for adults such as "One Thousand and One Nights", "Indian Legend", biopic performance "Mustai Karim. Close Horizon ", farce comedy" Love Adventure ".

The performance "What Is The Ornament Singing About?" has absorbed several genres: it is a synthesis of drama and puppet theater, animation, and storytelling. The play is narrated by Olga Sharafutdinova, People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, and Alexander Verkhozemsky, Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan. For almost an hour and a half on stage, the audience can observe how legends different in style, genre, and content are woven into one story, forming a single ornament.
