In the Bashkir Choreographic College named after R. Nureyev, preparations are being made for the premiere of the ballet The Snow Queen on the fairy tale of Hans Christian Andersen. The premiere is scheduled for November 26, 2017.
The musicians of composers of the 19-20th century are directed by the Honored Artist of Russia, Professor of the Department of Ballet Directing at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. N.R. Rimsky-Korsakov Alexander Polubentsev.
In the performance students of junior, middle and senior classes are occupied, as well as children of the preparatory department of the college.
In the ballet there will be fragments of the best works of Edward Grieg, Ian Sibelius, Peter Tchaikovsky, Modest Mussorgsky, Sergei Prokofiev.
According to the press service of the college, stage props are produced in the workshops of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater, and the headdresses of the Snow Queen, Snowflakes and Princesses are made in Yekaterinburg. In the studio of the college itself, bright costumes are shined for the entire production according to the sketches of the production director Fania Nizamova.
