The book presents the results of the past nine in the country census, starting with the first general census of the population of the Russian Empire in 1897 year. Sections of the collection contains data on the composition of the population of Bashkortostan on nationality, on language proficiency and their mother tongue, about the distribution of the population of the largest ethnic groups on the ground of residence, sex, age group, educational level and marital status and some other socio-demographic and socio-economic characteristics.
