On March 18, the Miras Gallery in Ufa opens an exhibition of paintings by Midat ​​Mukhametov and graphics by Rafael Muratshin "Earth and Sky".

The exhibition presents two authors, well-known to the Ufa public, members of the creative association "Genghis Khan". Their works, stylistically different, complement each other.

On the example of any of the presented works, the viewer will see the need for both artists to minimize expressive means to make their statement more concise, modern, and capacious. The authors do not overload visitors with a concept and do not create a clear framework for perception.

"During the period of their formation, each artist "works in the material" for a long time and painfully negotiates with it trying to go beyond its possibilities. In the mature period of the artist's work, the refusal to play with a technical component is more and more vivid, which allows being as honest and direct as possible, readable without intermediaries in the form of criticism and unnecessary knowledge," the organizers of the exhibition explained.

The exhibition will run until April 25.
