September 21-22, the IV Interregional Cossack Culture Festival was held in Kumertau. By tradition, the festival opened a prayer of thanksgiving. Divine liturgy in St. John the Baptist Cathedral of the city of Kumertau was held by Bishop of Salavat and Kumertau Nikolai.

On the first day of the festival, competitive programs of a creative and sports direction were held. This year, about 500 participants from Kazakhstan, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Samara, Penza, Chelyabinsk, Orenburg regions, cities and districts of Bashkortostan took part in the creative program of the festival. 12 teams became participants of competitions in military-applied sports. On the second day, the participants and spectators of the festival were greeted by the traditional “Kazarla” - the championship on cutting with a sword.

Director of the Center for Humanitarian Studies of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Marat Mardanov, Director of the House of Peoples Friendship of the Republic of Belarus Azat Ibragimov, Deputy Director of the Center for Humanitarian Studies Valentina Latypova, Head of the Department of Ethnocultural Development and Interregional Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Aigul Zulkarnayeva, Chairman of the Public Organization of the Public Organization “ Russian Military Historical Society ”in the Republic of Belarus Ramil Rakhimov and others.

For residents and guests of the city was organized "Cossack razgulyay": an exhibition of national farmsteads "Cossack Privoz" with ancient objects of the Cossacks and life, a platform with treats, an exhibition-fair of needlework.
