The Youth Theater of M.Karim hosted a press conference on the eve of the premiere of Anton Chekhov's play "Three Sisters"

Today, on April 4, 2017, the National Youth Theater of the Republic of Bashkortostan named after M.Karim hosted a press conference dedicated to the new "Three Sisters" performance (APChekhov), which premiered on April 8 and 9, 2017.

Speakers were: the production director Irina Zubzhitskaya (St. Petersburg), the artistic director of the theater Musalim Kulbayev, as well as the actress Svetlana Bronnikova (who plays the role of Masha) and Karina Yarmeeva (the performer of Natasha's role).

"For us, this performance is an attempt to touch one of the best, in my opinion, plays of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. First of all, this is an experiment on oneself, this is an attempt to avoid harsh academicism. How much do we manage to do this? I will not say what we will do, something new and global. But I want to put Chekhov the way I think about him. Someone, of course, does not like it. This is not an appeal, not a declaration, it is an attempt at comprehension, - Irina Valeryevna shared with the journalists. - We are now on the road, and we will be in constant search. This is a deep, huge material. We do not have to conform to anyone's ideas about the correct production of plays by this great author. I do not know how to put Chekhov. But when I was offered to stage the play "Three Sisters", I realized that I can not refuse. "

As Irina Zubzhitskaya told at the press conference, the initiator of the new production in the Youth Theater was Irina Zubzhitskaya. According to Musalim Kulbayev, in the general discussion, where ideas were discussed to stage performances based on plays by N.V. Gogol "The Inspector General", "Dead Souls", A.S. Griboyedov "Woe from Wit", even talked about the "Devils" F.M. Dostoevsky, the producers ended up amicably stopping at the "Three Sisters" AP. Chekhov.

Musalim Georgievich emphasized that in the work on this performance a highly professional and talented group gathered: artist Katerina Andreeva (Kirov), choreographer - our fellow countryman Alexander Rodionov, composer - Vasily Tonkovidov (Samara).

Almost half of the Russian troupe of the theater is involved in the performance: Andrei Ganichev (Andrey Prozorov), Karina Yarmeeva (Natasha), Lada Nikolaeva (Olga), Svetlana Bronnikova (Masha), Yulia Abrarova (Irina), Azat Malikov (Kulygin), Salavat Nurislamov (Vershinin ), Eugene Lopatin (Tuzenbah), Linar Akhmatvaliyev, Dmitry and Elina Gusev, Marat Kurbangaleev, Marina Apraksina. Also in the performance will be the artists of the Bashkir troupe Vadim Klysov (Solyonyi) and Ramzil Salmanov.

It should be noted that Anton Chekhov's play is staged for the first time on the stage of the M.Karim NAM. However, this is not the first director's work of Irina Zubritskaya in Ufa. In 2012, on the stage of the Youth Theater, she staged the drama "Thunderstorm" based on Alexander Ostrovsky's play. Residents of our republic are also familiar with the works of Irina Zubzhitskaya: in the Sterlitamak State Russian Drama Theater the director staged two plays - "The Truth is Good, but Happiness Is Better" (A. Ostrovsky) and "Strange Mrs. Savage" (J.Patrik).
