On the eve of October 9 in the People's Gallery of the State Russian House of Folk Art named. V.D. The opening of the photo exhibition “Bashkortostan through the eyes of friends”, timed to the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan, took place in Polenov.

Organizers of the exhibition: Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, State Russian House of Folk Art of V.D. Polenov, Union of Photo Artists of Russia, Republican Center of Folk Art of the Republic of Bashkortostan, “Agidel” Photo Club.

The photo exhibition “Bashkortostan Through the Eyes of Friends” mainly represents the cultural life of the peoples living in the republic, and this year takes place in preparation for the holding of the 6th World Folkloriad in Bashkortostan in 2020. The exposition presents bright moments of holidays of the peoples of Bashkortostan, including the traditional holiday “Sabantuy”, samples of decorative and applied art, landscapes, popular brands - Bashkir honey and Bashkir horses-tulpars.

The exhibition presents the work of photographers - participants of the International Action "Bashkortostan: Nature. Person. Culture" of different years.

Over the years of the photo-action, photographers from 76 countries and regions of Russia, including Iran, India, Italy, USA, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Brazil, the Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Turkey, Khakassia, Chuvashia, Tatarstan and the Republic of Crimea, visited Bashkortostan , the cities of Moscow, Chelyabinsk and others, and the routes of photo artists passed through almost all districts and cities of the republic.

“Their photo-sketches of different years about our culture, folklore, historical traditions are a modern photograph of Bashkortostan. According to the results of the Shares of different years, 5 photo albums from the series “Bashkortostan through the eyes of friends” were released, dozens of exhibitions and creative meetings were held. A photo artist from Iran, Hadi Navid, personally released 2 photo albums: "The Country of Love with the Smell of Honey" and "The Citizen of Bashkortostan". In 2014, the Action "Nature. Man. Culture" received high recognition - became the winner of the National award in the field of development of public relations "Silver Archer" in the nomination "The best project in the field of development and promotion of territories", "said the national artist of the Republic of Belarus Ramil Kilmamatov.

The solemn event was attended by the staff of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan under the President of the Russian Federation, the director of the State Russian House of Folk Art named after V.D. Polenova, Chairman of the Russian Committee for the Preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage Tamara Purtova and other guests of honor.
