Nauruz-2020 Turkic festival is cancelled in Moscow. It was reported by the Head of the Department of national policy, inter-regional relations and tourism of Moscow Vitaly suchkov. The mass events are getting shut down under Moscow’s blanket ban on large public events due to to the escalating coronavirus outbreak, according to the order of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

"We aere prepared for the event, but the plans changed. we had to subordinate. The order dictates that mass events involving more than 5,000 people will not take place", - he commented.

Nauruz festival is being held in Moscow every year for the last decade. More than 50 thousand guests were expected to the show.
