Yesterday, on April 15 at the Bolshoi Theater solemn presentation of the Russian national theatrical prize "Golden Mask - 2018" took place. Awards were awarded to performances in six main categories: drama theater, opera, operetta or musical, ballet, puppet theater and "Experiment".

Performance of the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater. M. Gafuri "Antigone" was nominated in 7 nominations: Drama / performance of great shape, the work of the director (Farid Bikchantaev), the work of the artist (Albert Nesterov), the female role (Lilia Galina), the male role (Oleg Khanov) (Gulmira Ismagilova), the male role of the second plan (Almas Amirov).

The Golden Mask Award was established in 1993 by the Union of Theater Workers of Russia as a professional award for the best works of the season in all kinds of theatrical art.
