On the eve of the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, opened the exhibition "Geopark" Yangan-Tau ": yesterday, today, tomorrow." Organizers: Bashkir Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, Administration of the Salavat District of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the sanatorium “Yangan-Tau”, the editorial board of the magazine “Belskie Prostory”.

The exhibition presents color copies of genuine photographs of Sergei Prokudin-Gorsky, the negatives of which are stored in the library of the US Congress, as well as modern shots taken by full members of the Russian Geographical Society in the footsteps of the royal photographer in the Salavat district. Of particular interest to visitors will be photos of the unique natural sights of the Yangan-Tau Geopark.

The exhibition was officially opened by the general director of the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Marat Zulkarnaev. He noted that such exhibitions always attract the attention of visitors: they face one of the corners of our wonderful land, native land, which we are rightly proud of.

The opening ceremony was attended by: Ildus Yakhin, Deputy Minister of Environmental Management and Ecology; Ramil Khammatov, Deputy Head of the Administration of the Salavat Region of the Republic of Bashkortostan; Alfred Akbashev, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia and Bashkortostan; Chechuha.
