The National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan the scientific and practical conference "New Trends in Interpretation through the Museum Exposition of the Events of the Revolution and the Civil War in the Southern Urals" was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Revolution of 1917. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The conference was attended by a representative of the Ministry of Culture, the Book Chamber of Bashkortostan and the National Archives of the Republic, heads and staff of state and municipal museums of the region, museums with municipal cultural and recreational facilities and school museums.
 
The conference discussed issues of the history of the Revolution and the Civil War in the Southern Urals, the presentation of the problems of the Revolution and the Civil War in the exhibition and exhibition, cultural, educational and research activities of museums. Based on the results of the conference, a compilation of the reports of its participants will be published.
