In Bashkiria, the Asyanovskaya rural model library of the Dyurtyulinsky district, created in 2020 as part of the national project "Culture", together with the State Corporation Roscosmos, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Library for Youth, took part in a teleconference with the cosmonauts of the International Space Station crew Oleg Novitsky and Pyotr Dubrov, with guests of honor of "Library Night -2021" and young readers of Russia "Space on the Line". The event was held as part of the 10th All-Russian campaign "Library Night-2021" dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the first manned flight into space, "Book — the Way to the Stars."
Gizzatullina, a secondary school student from the Asyanovo village — talked to the cosmonauts, asked them about their favorite books, thanks to which their dream of space was born. Children, youth, village elders, families in national costumes of peoples living on Asyanovskaya land — Bashkirs, Russians, Tatars, Mari — conveyed great greetings to the Russian cosmonauts from the hospitable Bashkortostan. The teleconference participants were the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ranis Altynbaev, the head of the Dyurtyulinsky district administration Rif Yusupov, deputies, members of public organizations, representatives of the Council of Veterans, and local self-government bodies.
The staff of the model library has arranged a book exhibition "Pages of Space Launches". The event featured performances of the "Serushtur" folklore group and the "Ak Kalfak" dance group. The teleconference took place due to the equipment purchased as part of the "Culture" national project.
