Amina Shafikova, the Minister of culture of Bashkortostan, delivered a speech in the context of the 5th Worldwide Bashkir Kurultai. Her paper "The modern statement of Bashkir national culture and it's development in Russia and worldwide: main achievements and perspectives" was the primary during the meeting. The section presided on bashkir language. 

Mrs Shafikova welcomed the guests, accentuating the celebration of centennial of Bashkortostan:

The bashkir culture is our property, our national and very unique treasure. We must save our folklore as a special cultural code, which will be succeed to our children" - she said.

Every represent of Bashkir nation needs an open access to our cultural possessions, an opportunity to influence on national culture. In this case the Internet sphere provides us many ways to contact worldwide. More than that, our cultural institutions are working on digitizing some exhibits and documents. The Minister accentuated the role of modern digital technologies nowadays.

Also she proudly announced the registration of kurai as a national bashkir brand. The Republic is progressing with the promotion of this national musical instrument.

Also she reported that more than a half of 250 dramatical performances are played on Bashkir language. It is remarkable that Bashkortostan takes the 1st place by the amount of drama theaters in Volga region. 

Amina Shafikova signified the importance of interaction with the youth. She listed some popular events which are presenting Bashkir culture and helping in promotion of national bashkir art. Those are "The Heart of Eurasia", "Born in Bashkortostan",  "The Silver Akbuzat" and so on.

A lot of work is made on strengthening contacts and connections between the bashkir communities worldwide. 

At the end of her speech, the Minister thanked all the guests and participants for the discussion.
