On February 18 and 19, the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater invites at the premiere of the one-act ballet "The Light of an Extinguished Star". It is based on Bashkir so-called legend. 

The performance acquaints the audience with our republic's rich heritage, culture, traditions, priceless melodic assets embodied in modern forms, and musical and choreographic art genres.

The legend tells a love-story of a Bashkir couple Aihylu and Khanbulat.
