The State Puppet Theater of the Republic of Mordovia is a theater with a rich history, which for 80 years of its existence has come a long way. At the origins of its creation was a family of circus artists, the Mahotyns, who organized the first amateur puppet group at the House of Artistic Education for Children of the People's Commissariat of Education of the MASSR. The creative life of Mordovian puppets has always been successful, because from the very beginning of their existence in the troupe worked talented directors, actors, artists and managers.
