Today, July 16, the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan opened an exhibition on the results of the VI World Folkloriada CIOFF®, which ended in the past days in Bashkortostan.
 
“We found it necessary to make this exhibition. 

First, the fact of holding the World Folkloriada in our republic is already a great achievement for us. Secondly, the fact that the festival took place at the most difficult time for the whole world doubles the significance of the event. Despite everything, the Republic of Bashkortostan held the Folkloriada with dignity and received the most enthusiastic reviews not only from the residents of Russia but also from many millions of people abroad. And the fact that this event took place here - is the history that will be for many years, for many centuries kept in our National Museum ”- commented the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova.

The exhibition «PRO.Folkloriada-2021» presents unique items related to a large-scale cultural event of the year: official documents, souvenirs, equipment, photographic materials, gifts and souvenirs brought by participants, etc.
 
A special place in the exposition is occupied by the Bashkir breast jewelry with coins of the countries participating in the Folkloriada, time capsules of the organizers and participants of the VI World Folkloriada CIOFF® for future generations, as well as for the participants of the VII World Folkloriada CIOFF®, laid during the closing ceremony.
 
The exhibition will run from July 16 to August 29, 2021.
