A conference of supporting compatriots worldwide took place today at the National museum of Bashkortostan.  

The event was attended by Ural Kilsenbaev, Elvira Aitkulova, Natalya Lapshina, Alfia Galieva, Yana Gaiduk, Irina Vershinina and the delegates of the 5th Bashkir kurultai from Kazakhstan. 

Ural Kilsenbaev, the head of Department of the President's Administration, welcomed the audience. The represent of Kazakhstan Ural Aznabaev reported that there are 16 000 Bashkirs living in his homeland. 

Elvira Aitkulova, the head-chief of the Bashkir Kurultai presented some gifts to guests of the meting. 

The question of in-between strategy development was discussed during the meeting. The Republical Ministry of education is working on on-line Bashkir language teaching opportunities. 

At the end of the meeting guests took part in the museum excursion.
