Today, May 17, the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan hosted the grand opening of the Days of Bulgarian Culture in Ufa.
The Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ranis Altynbaev made a welcoming speech.
"Since 2014 in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, there is a public organization of Bashkirs and Tatars of the republic -" Volga Bulgaria ". The Republic of Bashkortostan actively cooperates with this organization, directs artists to participate in the traditional Sabantuy holiday. We believe that today's event will serve to strengthen the friendly ties between the two republics, "said Ranis Raisovich.
Chairman of the NGO "Friendship of Peoples of Bashkortostan - Bulgaria" RB Jaroslaw Schroeder presented the exhibition of the Bulgarian photographer Dragomir Bogomilov "The Legacy of the Thracians" to the audience. The exposition was donated to the museum as part of the official visit of the Bulgarian delegation to the capital of the RB.
"After the arrival of the Bulgarian ambassador to our country, friendly cooperation has become more active, a high appraisal of the activities of our society was given. The presented photographs were exhibited in museums of many countries of the world. They traveled all over Europe, and now, to our great joy, they came to Russia, "said Yaroslav Yurievich.
In a solemn atmosphere, a welcome letter from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Russia, Boyko Kotsev, was read out, which reads in part:
"It is especially joyful that this event takes place on the eve of May 24 - the Day of Bulgarian Enlightenment, Culture and Slavic Written Language. Residents and guests of Ufa for one week can touch the culture of both ancient and modern Bulgaria. I am firmly convinced that the opening days of the Bulgarian culture will become one more solid proof of the closeness of Bulgaria and Bashkortostan. "
The event was also attended by the Director General of the National Museum of the Republic of Belarus Marat Zulkarnaev, the head of the archaeological research department of the Order of the Badge of Honor of the Institute of History, Language and Literature of the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Ovsyannikov and the founder of the NGO "Friendship of Peoples of Bashkortostan - Bulgaria" RB Vyacheslav Abroschenko.
