Today in the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater a grand evening “Life - Ballet - Love!” took place, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the creative activity of the theater's chief choreographer, People’s Artist of Russia and Bashkortostan, laureate of the State Prize of S. Yulaev Leonora Kuvatova.

Colleagues, friends and students came to congratulate Leonora Safiyeva. The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan thanked her for the images embodied on the stage, for cultivating talented offspring and wished them many creative years of life. Amina Ivnievna also conveyed the congratulations of the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky:

“Dear Leonora Safiyevna, please accept my sincere congratulations on your anniversary! The owner of an outstanding choreographic talent, a famous ballerina, an authoritative teacher - you rightly belong to the number of outstanding representatives of the national dance art. During your rich creative career, you performed dozens of classic parties, brought up more than one generation of young artists, and were awarded prestigious professional awards. But of course the main one is the endless audience love that has been accompanying you over the years and the best confirmation of this is the many friends, pupils and connoisseurs of your talent who have gathered today in this hall. I cordially wish you good health, continued success and inexhaustible inspiration!”, - the message says.

The general director of the theater, Ilmar Almukhametov, read out a congratulatory letter from the outstanding choreographer Yuri Grigorovich, where the maestro thanks Leonora Safiyev for honest work for the benefit of ballet work, and wishes inspiration and creative forces.

The audience was presented a variation from the ballet “Giselle”, a serenade from the ballet “Harlequinada”, an adagio from the ballet “Spartak”, an adagio from the ballet “Anyuta”. Adel Filippova and Ayrat Masegutov, the winner of the All-Russian competition, presented the premiere - dedication to parents “Letter from the front” to the music of Nur Dautov, in choreography by Saryan Suleymanov.

The concert ended with the third act from the ballet “Don Quixote” by Ludwig Minkus, performed by the winner of the international and All-Russian competitions Ekaterina Pervushina (Kremlin ballet) and the honored artist of Bashkortostan, the winner of the all-Russian competition Rustam Iskhakov.
