Today in the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater a solemn celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Aksakov Folk House took place.

This building was built on the initiative of the Ufa public in connection with the fiftieth anniversary of the death of the outstanding Russian writer, a native of Ufa, Sergei Timofeevich Aksakov. Aksakovsky house was built for the people and for the people's money. Funds were collected literally for a penny, for a ruble throughout the Ufa province, from all over Russia.

Aksakov Folk House became the ancestor of many organizations and cultural institutions, the cradle of the current Ufa theaters. Performances of Russian, Bashkir, Tatar groups were staged on its stage. Artists of the youth theater and puppet theater worked here. Aksakov House witnessed many cultural transformations of the capital.

People's Artist of the BASSR Nazif Kadyrov and People's Artist of the Republic of Belarus Gali Altynbayev, People's Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Almas Amirov, People's Artist of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation Airat Akhmetshin, the staff of the State Academic Russian Dramatic Theater came to congratulate Aksakovsky people's house.

In the first part of the concert, the events of the grand construction of Aksakov National House were recreated. Viewers plunged into the atmosphere of the pre-revolutionary Ufa of the early 19th century.

In the second part of the concert, the audience was represented by the present Aksakov Folk House. For the past 80 years, the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater has been the owner of the house. Today, the leading soloists, the choir and the orchestra of the theater pleased the admirers of opera and ballet art with masterpieces of world classics. People's Artists of the Republic of Belarus Gulsina Mavlyukasova and Ildar Manyapov presented an excerpt from the ballet “Crane Song” by L.Stepanov and Z.Ismagilova, Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Alim Kayumov presented the aria of Nadir from the opera “Pearl Seekers” by J. Bizze, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, J. Zydzhu from the opera “Pearl-seekers” J.Zize, honored actress of the Russian Federation, J.Zydzha, honored actress of the Russian Federation J.Zize, honored artist of the Russian Federation, J.Zydzha from the opera “Pearl-seekers” J.Zize, honored artist of the Russian Federation, G. Zyrazhu, honored actress of the Russian Federation J.Zize, honored artist of the Russian Federation, J. Zydzhu from the opera “Pearl-seekers” J.Zize, honored artist of the Russian Federation, G. Zyra, from the opera “Pearl-seekers” J.Zize, honored actress of the Russian Federation, Z. immersed the audience in the ballet "Scarlet Flower".

According to the Director General of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater, Ilmar Almukhametov, the theater has a responsible task - to preserve the creative and friendly atmosphere of Aksakov Folk House. Places with which the names of Fyodor Shalyapin, Rudolf Nureyev, Fayzi Gaskarov, Zagir Ismagilov and other prominent personalities are connected.
