A long-awaited premiere took place today at the Bashkir Puppet Theater - the play "Mustai Karim. Near Horizon" directed by Albert Imamutdinov.

This work is a portrait of the national poet of Bashkortostan Mustai Karim. The statement presents his poems, memories of childhood and war, arguments about love, excerpts from the works. The creators of the play tried to acquaint the viewer with the personality of the poet and show him from different sides - his image is embodied on the stage several times - before us appears little Mustafa, a young poet, a soldier, a captain and, finally, Mustai Karim. The performance is unusual in that it has incorporated several genres: it is a synthesis of cinematography, drama and puppet theater, documentary and animation. Especially for the premiere, a video-animated grid was acquired, to which verses, video and photo chronicles were broadcast.

As the director of the theater and director Albert Imamutdinov notes, it is not an easy task to embody the life of a person like Mustai Karim on stage: “Today we have a big celebration - there was a premiere about the life and work of the great Bashkir poet Mustai Karim. This project as an idea originated last year, and during this time a lot of work has been done. Initially, to embody the life of the poet, Vladimir Anoshkin, a play was written. Then it seemed impossible to translate everything on the stage into the script, but as the director of the play I attracted two artists, with whom we had been developing figurative solutions for about two months. Then the composer joined the work, who enriched our history with a musical score, and gradually the performance took shape”, - said Albert Alfritovich.

“When Albert (director, editor's note) offered to take part in the project about Mustafa Safich, I already understood that there would be something unusual and unique. You will hear the famous themes of Rome Khasanov in the new projection, folk themes, author's motives. The music sounds continuously the entire performance”, - shared the composer Ural Idelbayev.

The prime minister was visited by the guests of honor - the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Fanzil Chingizov, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Amina Shafikov, the daughter of the poet Alfia Karimov and many others.

Alfia Mustayevna expressed gratitude to the whole team: "I am impressed! Thank you for being so careful about the memory of my father. It seems to me that today we see that a new time comes in the era of the development of our theater. You have a great team, I sincerely wish you success!".

Artists worked on the performance - Anisa Tumanshina and Ilnur Slyavchin, composer - Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Belarus Ural Idelbaev. The project consultant is Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Shaura Gilmanova.

The performance is embodied on the stage of the Bashkir puppet theater in the framework of the project “Theater to Children” of the United Russia party.
