October 21 in the Bashkir State Philharmonic of Kh. Akhmetova will host a concert of the State Dance Theater of Kalmykia "Oyraty", which is the hallmark of the musical and choreographic art of the Republic of Kalmykia. The creative team, created in 1990, today represents about 40 artists. The ensemble includes a dance troupe and an orchestra of national instruments.

The artistic director and founder of the theater is the Honored Artist of the Republic of Kalmykia, Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation and the Chechen Republic, a member of the International CID Dance Council (UNESCO), holder of the Order of Friendship, Hero of Kalmykia Peter Nadbitov. The name of Nadbitov, the first professional choreographer of Kalmykia, is associated with the formation and development of national choreography. He has created over one hundred choreographic works. His performances are amazing brightness of images, an organic combination of costume, plastics and dance movements.

As part of the tour, the theater plans to show the audience the concert program “The Golden Fund of Kalmyk Dance” and the musical and choreographic folklore play “And a Friend of the Kalmyk Steppes”.
