Today, the XII International Organ Festival SAUERFEST was closed in Ufa. The festival ended with the “Christmas Organ” program, which was presented to Ufa organists in honor: Vladislav Murtazina, People’s Artist of Bashkortostan, Elvira Khairutdinova, Honored Artist of Bashkortostan, and Elvira Yamalova, student of international and All-Russian competitions.
Soloists played music of different styles and epochs: A. Gilmer, W. Mozart, F. Schubert, U. Bird, H. Kabanidis, I. Bach and others sounded. The solo group was joined by the Fregat Boys Choir of Children's Music School No. 4 under the direction of I. Ishmuratov.
As noted by the curator of the festival, the main specialist in the development of the philharmonic academic art Marina Lugovaya, the 12th festival is unusual in that its geography has expanded - the festival was opened by Yevgeny Avramenko from the organ capital of Russia Kaliningrad, who first performed in Ufa.
“We are trying to bring musicians from Russia and abroad, as well as to pay attention to Ufa musicians, whom the public loves, a full house confirmation in the hall,” notes Marina Lugovaya.
