Today in the Bashkir State Art Museum. Mv Nesterov presented the exhibition "Arsenal of Russian Tsars and Emperors. From the Collection of the Moscow Kremlin Museums", dedicated to the weapons collection of Russian autocrats of the XVII-XVIII centuries. The event was attended by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Amina Shafikova. She congratulated all those present on the opening of the unique exhibition and thanked the organizers.
"I think this exhibition will arouse the deepest interest among the inhabitants of our republic. The fact that this exhibition is here is collected in such magnificence and brought to Ufa - I consider it a historical event. It is exciting to realize that these items were held in the hands of kings, emperors, those who were at the court. I hope this exhibition will be seen by as many Ufimtsevs as possible", - the minister noted.
The presentation was attended by honored guests from Moscow: Olga Sosnina, Head of the Department of Development and Interaction with Partners of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, as well as exhibition curators, research assistants of the Moscow Kremlin Museums Fedor Panfilov and Maria Vilkova.
"The Kremlin Museum does not often take out its precious exhibits. But thanks to the general cultural policy and the support of partners, we increasingly export exhibitions to the regions. Requirements for exhibiting do not restrict regional museums. In this case, we see almost new halls with new European-style showcases . Following this exhibition, I think others will come. Together we do a great job", - said Olga Vladimirovna.
The exhibition presents 59 items from the sovereign treasury of the XVII century and the imperial arsenal of the XVIII century, including samples of Russian court uniforms, sabers, chain mail, helmet, pistols, daggers, shields, swords and much more. All exhibits were created by the best masters of their time and represent works of art outstanding in their historical, artistic, memorial and material value.
