Today in Ufa Victory Park a solemn ceremony was held dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which was visited by the acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.
On behalf of the multinational people of Bashkortostan, the head of the republic laid a wreath at the monument to the Heroes of the Soviet Union Alexander Matrosov and Minnigali Gubaidullin, at the foot of which the Eternal Flame burns.
Radiy Khabirov also laid flowers at the grave of twice Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Gareyev, at the busts of Major-General Minigali Shaymuratov and Tagir Kusimov, installed on the Alley of Heroes of the Glory Memorial, and at the monument to workers of the rear.
After that, Radiy Khabirov familiarized himself with the exposition of the Republican Museum of Military Glory. Currently, the museum hosts the exhibition “Soldiers of Victory”, which is a selection of works from the eponymous photo project, the ideological inspirer of which was the famous photo artist Ramil Kilmamatov. The heroes of the pictures are ordinary soldiers, fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers who look into the lenses of captured cameras to send good news from the front.
Another exhibition, Victory Day, is dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It presents photos that tell about the veterans - natives of Bashkortostan, the celebration of Victory Day in Ufa, the work of search teams of the republic, the thousands of marches of the "Immortal Regiment". In addition, the exposition includes combat awards, items found by search engines in battle sites.
