November 7, 2016 at the Zagir Ismagilov Ufa State Institute of Arts was the opening ceremony of the Z. Ismagilov III International Competition of performing musicians. In the F. Shalyapin Concert Hall held the opening ceremony and draw of the contest participants. With the opening speech, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Shafikova Amina reported: "On behalf of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan allows me to congratulate all of you with the opening of the III International Competition of Zagir Ismagilov for performing musicians. This contest opens a series of significant events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the prominent Bashkir composer, founder of the Bashkir national school of composition. I would like to thank the jury for the visit, for them will be a difficult task to choose the best of the best. I thank the contestants and their teachers for their participation and training, without them this contest would not come true. Needless to participate - this is a big win". Opening the competition, the rector of the Ufa State Institute of Arts Asfandyarova Amina emphasized that hold a competition of international level - it is a very honorable and responsible. "I hope that the days lived in the competition, will remain for all outstanding event, and everyone will remember this creative atmosphere. We are all waiting for the meeting with "talent", meeting with high professional skills; we are waiting for a holiday art", - said Amina Ibragimovna. Contestants are divided into two age categories in three nominations: "Vocal", "Piano" and "Violin, cello, double bass". This year's participation was received about 100 applications from young musicians from Russia, South Korea, Kazakhstan and Armenia. In the contest will be attended by more than 80 artists, including 18 participants in the category "Piano" in two age groups; 24 - in the nomination "The violin, cello, double bass"; 43 - in the “Vocal” nomination.
