From March 26 to March 28, the Days of the Republic of Bashkortostan will held in the city of Klin near Moscow as part of the annual Folk Arts and Сrafts Festival. For three days, Klin residents and guests will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the culture and language, traditions and customs, costumes, and cuisine of the Bashkir people.
The guests of the Festival will enjoy the performances of the Bashkir community's creative teams in Moscow and visit the exhibition of handicraft products of Bashkortostan. Delicious tea and traditional Bashkir treats will be served — honey, chak-chak, dried goose, bauyrsak (dessert).
The Festival will feature the Bashkir folklore group "Ak Tirme", the creative association "Sesen", the Moscow ensemble of the Bashkir dance "Altyn Ai" and the vocal and choreographic ensemble "Khazina".
The population of Klin is about 121 thousand people. Every year the city administration holds the Folk Arts and Сrafts Festival so that residents and guests can get acquainted with the culture of other regions of Russia.
