March 25 in the Bashkir Art Museum of M.Nesterov will be the next lecture from the manor cycle "Under the shadow of the lordly lindens": images of Russian estates in Russian painting of the turn of the 19-20th centuries (from Levitan to Gritsay).
The cycle is dedicated to the memory of the founder of the Society for the Study of Russian Manors - an art critic, author of books about the estate, Ph.D., historian and Muscovite Vladimir Zgura (1903-1927). Students will get acquainted with the famous events from the life of Zgur, with thematic works of artists Levitan, Serov, Somov, Benoit, Bakst, Borisov-Musatov, Grabar, Yuon, Vinogradov, Gritsai, etc. The conversation will continue the conversation about Kurakin's estate "Nadezhdino" (history estates, ensemble structure, collections and the library of the prince).
