A writer from Bashkortostan was awarded the Dostoevsky medal in Moscow

Prose writer Ilgiz Akhmetov from the Ilishevsky district of Bashkortostan became a nominee for the prestigious literary award "Writer of the Year". The solemn ceremony of presenting the medal was held on March 20 in the large conference hall of the Moscow Government.

The Fyodor Dostoevsky 200 Years Medal is a public award given to poets and writers who develop contemporary literature. It was founded by the Russian Union of Writers last year, when the bicentenary of the birth of Fyodor Dostoevsky was celebrated in memory of the great Russian writer.

 

“The cultural world” web portal is the only media to tell about Bashkir culture. It also highlights the achievements of famous people in the republic, tells about young artists.
