On March 6 the National Symphony Orchestra of the RB will present a concert of symphonic music, consisting of genuine masterpieces.
The concert will feature: Symphony No. 5 by P.I. Tchaikovsky and Concerto for cello and orchestra by A. Dvorzhak.
Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamidullin (cello) will shine at the stage as a soloist. Behind the conductor's stand is the chief conductor of the orchestra Dmitry Kryukov.
Symphony No. 5 by P.I. Tchaikovsky is one of the most popular works by the famous Russian composer, in which he refers to the theme of “a man and his destiny”. But now the author wants to solve it in a different way: to the fight against destiny and defeat it. The symphony consists of 4 parts, where the theme of fate, represented by a gloomy mourning march, pervades all the parts, undergoing changes and, in a solemn finale, dissolves into the scene of a folk festival.
Concerto for cello and orchestra by A. Dvorzhak was created by the Czech classic away from his homeland, in the USA. This composition immediately became one of the greatest works ever composed for the cello. The concert is permeated with the intonations of the Slavic lands. At the same time, the composer interprets the cello in a new way, which was previously famous as a lyrical instrument. So, heroism and virtuosity prevail in the music of the concert.
The concert starts at 18:00 on March 6 at the Concert Hall of the Ufa School of Arts (Pushkin St., 103A).
