More than 400 participants from cities and districts of the republic, other regions of the country gathered the second ethnofestival “Ay, Ural, Ural!” In the Uchaly district. Guests of the festival were given the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the ancient Bashkir traditions, try dishes of national cuisine, play folk instruments, listen to live music and participate in exciting contests and tournaments.
The participants of the festival on this day were welcomed by the secretary of the Uchaly District Council, Zarif Garipov:
"Ethnological festival" Ay, Ural, Ural! ", Which has already become traditional in the Uchaly district, brought together more than four hundred representatives of regions of our country. And this holiday is certainly a symbol of international harmony, an example for young people in preserving and developing the traditions of our people. I want to thank each of the participants for their attention to our festival, for your desire and ability to preserve traditional national culture, for patriotism. "
Elvira Aitkulova, Chairman of the Committee on Education, Culture, Sport and Youth Policy of the State Assembly-Kurultay of the republic, became the guest of honor at the event. She noted the uniqueness and rich program of the ethnic festival, wished the archers a good shot, and all the participants - a successful performance in both creative and sporting events.
The most striking and entertaining event of the festival was the shooting tournament of the traditional bow “Baҡshai margune-2018”, in which 70 archers demonstrated their skills. In order to win the title of best shooter, tournament participants had to go through several stages - biathlon, speed shooting, Korean shooting, Turkish putu, dragon, nomad shooting and others. Thus, at the “dragon” stage, archers fired at the five-headed dragon model. According to the conditions of the competition, shooting was carried out from the first to the fifth head, points were counted only if all targets were hit alternately. When 2 arrows hit one head, only one hit was taken into account. For the passage of the “Shooting at speed” stage, the participants were given only 30 seconds, while with the release of less than 5 arrows in men, 4 arrows in women, the result was not counted. According to the results of passing all the stages (there were only 10), Hurmat Tagirov from Sibay became the absolute winner in the men's walking shooting tournament, Dana Karimova from Ufa was recognized as the mark among women. Note that among the main tasks of this tournament, along with the development of event tourism, the preservation of national, folk traditions of the peoples of the republic, is also the formation of a national team of the Republic of Bashkortostan on shooting from traditional bow, which will represent our region in the All-Russian and international competitions.
