The National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan hosted the event "Family Weekend".

At the event “Visiting a bee”, children got acquainted with the history of beekeeping in our region, learnt about the inhabitants of the hive, and the way of life of the bee family. They learned how the Bashkirs decorated clothes before and why they did it. Why did the northeastern Bashkirs decorate their clothes with a floral pattern, while the Dem Bashkirs had Zilyan’s clothes are all covered with coins. Also at the Ethnokids event, the children played a fun game and felt like real Bashkirs. And of course, they listened to the beautiful melodies of kurai on the musical excursion "The history of the region in the songs of the Bashkir people."

The next "Family Weekend" will take place on March 19 and 20.
