On the day of the professional holiday of ethnographers in the village of Komsomol, Salavat district, the ethnographic museum “Khomai” was opened.

The museum was organized and breathed into life by one of the few craftswomen in the production of costumes of the peoples of Bashkortostan, a participant in the International Competition of Masters of the Bashkir National Costume "Tamga", folklorist-ethnographer Guldar Shabieva. The cultural and historical corner is located in the private courtyard of the craftswoman, in a building built specifically for the museum.

The audience was presented with a defile: the costumes of Guldar Shabiyeva and the craftswomen of the “Seltar” studio.

At the end of the solemn part, all participants of the event visited the museum, which, in addition to costumes, presents home decoration and household utensils.
