The International Exhibition of Folk Crafts and Textiles "Surajkund Mela"continues in India. It is attended by an official delegation headed by the Minister of Culture of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova. The creative team includes the director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Agidel" Guzel Karimova, the leather craftsman Dinar Mazitov, the editor of the TV channel "Tamyr" Laysan Mazitova, the deputy director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Agidel" Artem Yaratov, the artist of the Bashkir State Philharmonic H. Akhmetova, kuraist Artur Gaisarov.
Participants of the festival from different cities of India and participating countries present works of fine and decorative arts, as well as products of rural original handicrafts.
The exposition of the Republic of Bashkortostan is of great interest to local residents. Indians are happy to study our souvenirs with national ornaments, listen to kurai and taste honey. For festival participants and local residents, the national musical instrument kurai seems fantastic.
Craftsman Dinar Mazitov presents leather goods at the festival, and also conducts master classes in making leather bracelets.
The Bashkir delegation continues to acquaint the participants of the festival with the rich culture of Bashkortostan. The festival will continue until February 8.
