Today in the Bashkir Art Museum named after M.Nesterov solemn opening of the personal exhibition of Sergey Krasnov took place. An exhibition of painting by the People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, an academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, Sergei Borisovich, is dedicated to his 70th birthday.

The solemn event was attended by the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova, friends and colleagues of Sergey Borisovich from all over the country, connoisseurs of painting.

"I am pleased to be in this room, to see always the positive Sergei Borisovich, who looks at everything around with good irony, which immediately attracts. For me it is important that we have such a "human" in our republic, because when such people live at the same time with you, it makes life meaningful. Also today it became known that Sergei Krasnov was awarded the Gold Medal for his services to the Russian Academy of Arts.

The exposition presents works of different years, revealing the peculiarities of his artistic conception and creative method. The exhibition occupies the entire second floor of the new museum building and widely reveals the talent of the master.
