The press conference was held in Ufa today. It was dedicated to the IV International film-festival of national and ethnic cinematography "The Silver Akbuzat". 

There were: the chief of "Bashkortostan" film studio Yunir Aminev, the film-festival organizer Zukhra Burakaeva, the press-center chief Airat Zainiev, art-director Magafur Timerbulatov and festival coordinator Damir Yusupov.

The organizers thanked the Republical governments and the Ministry of culture of Bashkortostan for supporting this project. 

It will last from 24th to 27th of August. There will participate 48 films from 12 regions of Russia and 15 countries. The audience will also see 2 Oscar nominees. One of the honored guests - Selim Bayraktar, the famous actor best known for his role as Sumbul aga in popular turkish series "The Magnificent Century".

"This festival is very unique. We know that some directors film especialy for this event" - said Magafur Timerbulatov. 

 The jury members will come from Spain, Bulgary and Moscow. The famous russian actor Sergei Shakurov will be the president of jury. 

"The festival will be opened by the film of the famous bashkir film-director Bulat Yusupov - "The First Republic". We want to show our interest in developing the national cinematography" - commented Zuhra Burakaeva. 

Organizers also reported that there will be some extra nominations this year: such as special prize from the First lady Karine Khabirova and from the adviser to the Head of Bashkortostan on culture and art Askar Abdrazakov. 

The show will be set in the "Rodina" cinema and it will be for free. 

There will also be set two open-air concerts at the beginning and ending of the festival.
