On March 13, a show-concert of the famous kuraist Yulai Kasimov took place at the Toratau Congress Hall. As the musician says, this concert has become a new sound of the legendary instrument of the Bashkir people.

 “The slogan of the concert was the words from the epic “Ural Batyr”. With this concert, the team and I wanted to convey that each generation has its own heroes, but despite them, we should not forget about those who showed courage in the past and became the hero of their time,” said Yulai.

The audience was presented a program featuring popular Bashkir pop singers Rafis Sirusin, Alfiya Nigmatullina, Alena Zavyalova, kubyz player Artur Gaysarov and the Miras Song and Dance Ensemble. The culmination of the evening was performances with the participation of a glucophone and the orchestra of the Miras Song and Dance Ensemble.

For many viewers, a variety of kurai of the Tungaur clan was news. Yulai, as a native of this family, performed the folk melody "Igzakov" on it. Note that this type of kurai is longer than the traditional one and sounds louder.

At the end of the evening, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Azat Badranov presented Yulai Kasimov with a letter of thanks from the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and a Diploma of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan and wished him new creative heights and expressed gratitude for his great contribution to the development of the national kurai instrument.

Also, the words of gratitude were expressed by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of the State Assembly-Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alfis Gayazov and presented the Gratitude from the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

People's Artist of the Russian Federation Khurmatulla Utyashev spoke on behalf of the World Kurultai (Congress) of the Bashkirs.

The show was accompanied by a standing ovation from the audience and at the end the audience did not let the musician leave the stage for a long time. A large professional team worked on the event and, according to them, this concert met their expectations and became the event of the year.
