In the evening of May 19, 2018, at 18.00 hours, the most large-scale museum event of the year - "Museum Night-2018" will start. The eighth consecutive year the museums of the Republic of Bashkortostan take part in a large-scale museum action.

In 2018, the action "Night of Museums-2018" in the republic is held on two main topics. The first theme - "Masterpieces from the storehouses" - common to all museums in Russia.

Large museums will show visitors exceptional in their artistic value or historical value museum items that previously rarely left the storehouses or not exhibited at all.

Museums of small towns and villages will open exhibitions of new exhibits, still unfamiliar to visitors, and "exhibitions of one exhibit". A unique artifact can be leisurely viewed in all its details and listen to an exciting excursion.

The second theme - "The Year of the Family in the Republic of Bashkortostan" - is republican. Museums will present exhibitions and cultural and educational events dedicated to family values, family traditions and family holidays, family stories of outstanding natives of Bashkortostan and old-timers of cities and villages, showing an example of harmony and harmony in family life.

On May 19, more than 100 museums and galleries of various profiles and forms of ownership will open their doors to visitors: 23 state and 72 municipal museums, as well as museums at club and leisure facilities, departmental, corporate and private museums.
