The Interregional competition of solo performers of the Russian song “Mistress-Song” was held in Ufa. The event, where the best soloists of the republic for two days competed in vocal skill, was held at one of the best stages of the republic - in the Concert Hall of the Ufa Art School.
The opening ceremony of the competition was held on December 14th. The holiday was decorated with the performance of the exemplary choreographic ensemble “Step up” of the RDK. Iglino (head. Kaneeva E.L.). The Russian folk ensemble “Tausen” of the Bashkir State University (led by Evdokimova EV), the soloist of the folklore ensemble of song and dance “Miras” Alyona Zavyalova and the ensemble of Russian folk instruments in Ufa “Zabava” (the heads of Yartsev VA).
On the first competitive day of the test, participants were in age categories from 16 to 40 years old and from 41 years old and professional performers. On the second day, young vocalists under 10 years old and from 11 to 15 years old demonstrated their skills. In total, 52 performers from Birsk, Blagovarsky, Blagoveshchensky, Karmaskalinsky, Miyakinsky, Sterlitamak, Tuymazyinsky, Ufimsky, Chishminsky, Yanaul districts, cities of Mezhgorye, Neftekamsk, Oktyabrsky, Salavat, Sterlitamak and Ufa became participants of the competition.
This year there were two winners of the III Interregional Competition of solo performers of the Russian song “Mistress-Song”. Among adult performers, Galina Karpova, an employee of the Rural House of Culture in Birsky District, was recognized as the Grand Prix winner. Among the children of the jury subdued 10-year-old pupil G.V. Khomich from Ufa Karina Akmukhametova.
Within the framework of the event, an exit concert of the participants of the competition in KFOR took place Krasny Yar Ufa district.
The “Mistress of the Song” competition was held to promote and develop Russian folk solo performance in the republic, to widely popularize the best examples of Russian music and song culture, to increase the interest of young people in the origins of folk singing culture, etc. For three years of its existence, its singing skills on it were demonstrated by participants not only of our republic, but also of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Orenburg and Chelyabinsk regions, the Perm Territory.
The competition was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republican Center for Folk Art, the State Budgetary Professional Educational Institution of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ufa College of Arts (college).
