Ministry of Culture of Russia will contribute to the preservation and development of repertory theater
This was at a meeting of the Working Group on literature, art and folk art of the Public Council under the Russian Ministry of Culture said the Deputy Minister of Culture Alexander Zhuravsky. Thus, he commented on the call of the meeting of the Russian Federation Ministry of Culture to promote the preservation of the traditional repertory theater in Russia, according to the official website of the department.
"We will support the Public Council because Repertory Theatre - a unique phenomenon. This is our contribution to world culture. Many of the psychological actors who we like - they're those pupils generations of actors who were brought up on Stanislavski system", - said Alexander Zhuravsky.
In his opinion, "the collision in the art of tradition and innovation is a natural process," so and Design Theatre, along with a repertory should develop freely.
"Art brings not always didactic, it can not be applied exclusively. There will always be a clash of traditions and innovations. For the Ministry of Culture of Russia it is obvious that the project turns out to be more expensive repertory theater. It must exist and develop freely, but we need to be aware how much it costs, and how to influence the development of theater in the country ", - he explained.
Deputy Chairman of the OC, People's Artist Nikolai Burlyaev pointed out that the city theater of reform, in particular, the "flashing theaters" - turning drama theater named Gogol Gogol center or Moscow's Stanislavsky Drama Theatre in the "Electro Stanislavsky" - are contrary to the decree Russian Federation President on "the basis of the state cultural policy."
In the opinion, the Chairman of the Public Council Pozhigajlo Paul, a significant part of the society does not want to understand the shocking performances of contemporary filmmakers, so it is necessary to seek a compromise, to discuss issues in the environment, "the same talented creators", as well as offering the opportunity to the public to take part in this debate.
