The winners of the II Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition are determined. The competition is held in Ufa these days with the support of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The final round of the Contest was held today on the stage of "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall.

Maestro Vladimir Teodorovich announced the winners of the musical competition from the stage. The winner of the first prize is 15-years old Maria Duenas from Granada (Spain).

"I'm very happy and overwhelmed with emotions! Of course, to get such a violin as a gift is the dream of any musician. But from the age of seven I dreamed to perform on the same stage with the Maestro, and tomorrow my dream will come true! For me, this contest was not easy, at least according to participants I played in the finals with, each of us is very talented. Here I learned a lot and got an invaluable experience! ", - the winner shared her emotions.

The second prize was awarded to the FedorBeznosikov (Russia). The third prize was awarded to IsseiKurihara (Japan). The fourth award – is StepanStarikov (Russia).

Participants Anna Millman (Spain), AsiyaGaripova (Russia), Dennis Gasanov (Russia), SophiRochlin (Israel) are awarded a special prize.

The third round of the competition was accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan and soloists of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia. Participants performed concerts for violin of composers N.Paganini, F.Mendelson, D.Shostakovich and P.Tchaikovsky. The conductor – the Estonian musician MihhalGerts.

The gala concert will be held at the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan" on September 21. Also on this day, the chairman of the jury, Professor Mikhail Kopelman (USA) and a member of the jury, Professor Boris Kushnir (Austria) will share their experience.Master classes will take place at 12 and 14 o'clock, respectively, at the Ufa School of Arts.
