Continue accepting applications for the II International Vocal Competition of F. Chaliapin. The competition will be held in the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater from September 20 to 25 with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation.

The jury will be chaired by Askar Abdrazakov, People’s Artist of Bashkortostan, laureate of international competitions.

Young vocalists are invited to participate in the competition. Applications are accepted until August 20. Participants will be selected according to the sent videos. The competition consists of two rounds: the first, accompanied by the piano and the second - the final, accompanied by a symphony orchestra.

Winners of the Grand Prix, the first and second awards on September 25 will perform at the gala-concert of the International Festival of Opera Art “Chaliapin Evenings in Ufa”.
