Today, fans of Bashkir rock gathered at the House of Culture of the Republican Center of Folk Art at the Republican festival of Bashkir rock "Ural-Batur". The project is being held for the second time and is dedicated to the soloist of the famous rock group Dervish Khan, Dima Kulakhmetov. The festival was visited by the Minister of Culture of Belarus Amina Shafikova.
This year the event was held in three stages. The first is the reception and consideration of demonstration materials. Participants in the second stage met yesterday, December 13, and performed 2-3 works of each, of which the jury selected the best. Today, the final concert took place, where 9 bands from all over the country presented their best songs.
Artur Alibakov, director of the Center for Science and Technology, noted that the festival is held on small venues so that young musicians gain experience and be ready for the big stage in the future. “They started discussing this festival in social networks - this is good, because criticism must be taken, because the one who works always gets bumps and experience. The purpose of the event is to create a rock movement to unite the guys and move forward. We at the RCNT and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic create all the conditions for the development of Bashkir rock. We have already bought a new equipment for a recording studio, so our groups will receive certificates for recording at the studio today. Many thanks from the entire Bashkir rock movement personally to the Minister of Culture Amina Ivnievne, ”said Artur Aidarovich.
The first were the musicians of the group “Dan”, the concert began with a dedication song to Dima Kulakhmetov, an archival video recording was also shown - an interview with a musician. Such projects as “Shonkar”, VIA “Yuldash”, “Malai-Shalai”, “KaRATash” and others appeared on the stage today. Each team was awarded a commemorative statuette and a certificate for recording rights.
The concert was attended by legends of Bashkir rock - members of the group "Duana" and "Dervish Khan". Derbert Khan's guitarist Albert Gabbasov noted that such events had not been held for 15 years, and now there is an opportunity to revive the movement. “Here is a positive, a lot of young guys, and no matter how they play, the main thing is that they try. I remember our first performance - it was far from smooth, ”said the leader of the group.
