On July, 9 in the Burzyansky district, the opening of the Shulgan-Tash historical and museum complex and the official opening of the International Year of Fundamental Sciences for Sustainable Development took place. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, announced this on his social network page:

“Even the weather is in solidarity with us today. And it's very beautiful around. The sun, the Ural Mountains, the Belaya River and we are not far from the Shulgan-Tash cave. In this wonderful atmosphere, we opened the Shulgan-Tash historical and cultural museum complex."

The historical and cultural museum complex "Shulgan-Tash" is the largest museum of rock art in Russia, similar projects are currently implemented only in Western Europe (France, Spain). The leading exhibit of the museum is a collection of reproductions of ancient cave paintings.
