On the eve of Ufa, the Open Competition for Kuraists named after Adigam Iskuzhin gathered the masters of the game on a unique Bashkir folk musical instrument - Kurai.
According to the results of the Grand Prix contest, the participant and the winner of numerous kurai competitions, Ufimets Yunir Saginbayev, won. The winner was presented with a certificate for tailoring costumes in the amount of 30 thousand rubles.
The gala concert and the award ceremony took place in the Concert Hall of F.I. Chaliapin Ufa. On behalf of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Arthur Alibakov, Director General of the Republican Center of Folk Art, welcomed the participants. He noted the particular importance in popularizing globalization of popular culture. After all, the holding of such holidays contributes to the promotion of the folk performing traditions of playing the kurai, revealing the new opportunities of the kurai for professional and amateur performers and groups, identifying talented performers. Artur Aidarovich handed over a gold badge in the form of a kurai to Yula Gainetdinov, who made a significant contribution to the preservation and popularization of the kurai musical instrument. In the near future, well-known Kuraists of the republic will be awarded the same marks, among them Azat Aitkulov and Rishat Rakhimov.
First place was awarded in the nomination "Soloists under 12 years old": Ilgam Akhmedyanov (Ufa), Ayrat Temirov (Salavat); Soloists 12-16 years old: Nur Subhangulov (Ufa), Radmir Gumerov (Tuymazy); Soloists over 16 years old - Shamil Kusyamishev (Sibay), Gayaz Yalmurzin (Ufa). Special prizes from the Union of Kuraists of the Republic of Bashkortostan were also awarded: Aygiz Khasanov (Ufa), Zulhiz Mukhametgalin (Beloretsk), Arslan Galiaskarov (Blagoveshchensk). Special prizes were awarded in the nomination of the most elderly participant Fuat Yunysbayev (Sterlitamak) and the youngest participant Gayaz Tansykkuzhin (Sibay). The Kurultai of Bashkir youth also established its special prizes and diplomas.
The holiday was decorated with the performances of the granddaughter Adigam Iskuzhin, soloist-vocalist of the Bashkir State Philharmonic named after. Kh.Akhmetov, laureate of international and regional competitions of Aliya Iskuzhina, ethno-rock group Argymak, ensemble of A. Iskuzhin kuraiists of Bashkir Republican gymnasium-1 №1 named after Rami Garipov, as well as ensemble of curaists of the Ufa School of Arts and winners of the creative competition.
The event aimed at perpetuating the memory of Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, an outstanding kuraiist - teacher, national singer A.Iskuzhin, who made a significant contribution to the preservation and development of the spiritual cultural heritage of the Bashkir people was held in Ufa for the fifth time.
Competition kuraistov not just a platform where talents compete. Here they pass a kind of school to improve their skills. So, this year soloists from the cities of Blagoveshchensk, Beloretsk, Sibay, Ishimbay, Salavat, Sterlitamak, Tuymazy, Uchaly, Ufa, Magnitogorsk, as well as Abzelilovsky, Alsheevsky, Ilishevsky, Karmaskalinsky, Kugarchinsky, Sterlibashevsky, Khaibullinsky and Ufa areas. In the event, glorifying the Bashkir folk musical instrument 69 kuraists gathered.
Competitive auditions were held during the day at the Children's Music School №1 im.N.Sabitova. Identification of the best soloists took place in three age groups: up to 12 years old (26 participants), from 12 to 16 years old (24 participants), over 16 years old (19 participants).
